Ten years after his death, public television braced itself a special program as a tribute to the director Juan Alberto Badía, who died on 29 June 2012. He is Badia inheritance which will air this Wednesday at 10pm on the official screen. The broadcast was recorded in Studio 1, which bears his name, and so on an idea of Lito Vitale.
The musician was the one who also took care of the musical direction of the special, in which they participated dozens of artists and personalities who offered their memory and homage to one of the most important voices on Argentine radio and television.
Among those who will be part of the tribute program are the musicians Juan Carlos Baglietto, León Gieco, Jairo, Marilina Ross, Sandra Mihanovich, David Lebón and Alejandro Lerner, as well as media figures who have had some connections with Badía, such as Jorge Telerman, Fernando Bravo, Enrique Wolff, Cecilia Laratro and Maby Wells, among others.

The Studio Maggiore of Public Television, which saw “Badia in Concerto”, among other unforgettable artistic cycles, received for the first time the visit of Marisa and Carlos Badia, brothers of Juan Albertowho recalled the announcer.

Obviously music has always been a fundamental pillar in Juan Alberto’s programs, where dvarious popular artists and others in their beginnings had a privileged place in all of their programs.
For this reason Juan Carlos Baglietto, León Gieco, Jairo, David Lebón, Alejandro Lerner, Hilda Lizarazu, Sandra Mihanovich, Marilina Ross, Patricia Sosa and Lito Vitale have come together to pay tribute to this special program, which has interpreted musical themes of all the times.
Also highlighted is the special program dedicated to the beloved driver an opening by Fernando Bravo and the moving words of journalists and broadcasters Lalo Mir, Martín Jauregui, Silvina Chediek, former national team footballer and sports journalist, Enrique ‘Quique’ Wolff and singer Dany Martin.

Born and raised in Ramos Mejía, Badía graduated in television broadcaster in 1970 from ISER (Higher Institute of Radio Education) and has worked in many radio stations, including Antártida, Rivadavia, El Mundo and Del Plata.
He also excelled on TV, leading cycles like Imagine TV, Badía and company, Radio image, A good idea, Heart, heart, Country Study Y badia in concertamong others.
His passion for the Beatles It led him, later, to offer a unique space to musicians in his programs, something that was one of his hallmarks. Badía died in 2021 of mediastinal cancer at the age of 65.
