The emergency hospitalization to which Travis Barker, the drummer of the American band Blink-182, had to undergo it was due to pancreatitis which doctors estimate was triggered by a colonoscopy.

This was reported by the site specializing in the famous Hollywood TMZ, which cites the musician’s relatives as sourceswhile not providing further details on the date on which this study would be conducted.

Barker had his fans alarmed when he posted the line “God Save Me” on his social media, shortly after the news of his urgent transfer last Tuesday to a health center in Los Angeles.

For its part, Barker’s daughter added more angst to the situation asking the public through his Instagram account to “send their prayers” for his father. The first rumors claimed that the artist had suffered from facial paralysis. Even if the secrecy with which the family and the doctors dealt alone prevented the verification.
