David Lebón continues to move forward with the production of his second duet album and yesterday released his third advance.

So Leon & Co. 2 It is taking shape, as two other topics were previously known: time without dreams next to Getting to know RussiaY waiting to be born with Vicentino.

The registration

David is preparing the album with the same team that worked on the previous album, for example Gabriel Pedernera (by Eruca Sativa) as producer.

As anticipated, this Part II will have the same general concept as its predecessor: renewed readings of the pieces that Lebón composed and performed throughout his career, both as a soloist and with fundamental groups such as Pescado Rabioso, Polifemo and Serú Girán.

The first volume of Lebon & Co was released in 2019 and has become the great winner of the Gardel Music Awards the following year, taking Gardel de Oro for Album of the Year along with five other statuettes. He went on to receive two Latin Grammy nominations, but David returned empty-handed from Las Vegas.

Lebon & Co. became a work of consecration, with guests of the stature of Julieta Venegas, Fito Paez, Pedro Aznar, Andrés Calamaro, Eruca Sativa, Polifemo, Emmanuel Horvilleur, Coti, Lisandro Aristimuño, Leiva, Carlos Vives and Ricardo Mollo.

The album currently exceeds 55 million views.

Towards the Luna Park

Along with the release of the song with Fabi, David Lebón announced it on November 27 it will be presented at the Luna Park stadium. It will be the first time that he plays there as a soloist, even if before he has been a guest several times (for example with Eruca Sativa) and in 1976 he played with his group Polifemo.

Previously it will play on September 2 in Córdoba, September 16 in Santa Fe, September 17 in Rosario and September 23 in Tucumán.

In addition to preparing this new album, David Lebón has given several important concerts this year, for example the Hippodrome of Palermo which he shared with Pedro Aznar in May, together with the Unique Symphony Orchestra of Buenos Aires, under the direction of maestro Pedro Vercesi.

In December 2021, however, the vinyl reissue of the legendary first album by Serú Girán, thanks to a direction of INAMU, the National Institute of Music.

43 years after its publication, the rescue of this magnificent work of Argentine music in the quality it deserves takes place as part of the recovery of the historical catalog of the Music Hall carried out by INAMU.
