Line Renaud, co-founder of Sidaction, which is part of the July 14 promotion of the Legion of Honor published this Thursday in the Official Gazette, expressed her “tremendous emotion” on Twitter on Thursday.

“Without Line, Sidaction would not exist”
The 94-year-old actress and singer’s commitment to AIDS patients dates back to the 1980s. It was in 1985 when she launched the first galas in favor of medical research, with Elizabeth Taylor and Pierre Bergé.
