The Spice Girls spread an enigmatic message

The British group released a short video with the inscription “Spice World 25”. “Spice World”, his second album, will celebrate its 25th anniversary in November.

Those nostalgic for the Spice Girls can rejoice: the next few months will (perhaps) be favorable for them. On Tuesday, the 1990s girl band star posted a short video on Twitter in which a globe rotates in space, surrounded by a ring bearing the inscription “SpiceWorld25.”

Fans of the British group made up of Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Mel C and Victoria Beckham immediately made a connection: next November will be the 25th anniversary of world of spices, his second album, released in 1997 -on whose cover the same terrestrial globe appeared-. It contained some of her most iconic hits: spice up your life, Too either Live forever.

A new anniversary edition?

The unknown remains about what this message suggests, 22 years after the separation of the British formation. But everything indicates that the singers will mark the 25th anniversary of this album, as they did with the previous one. spice (nineteen ninety six). This first work celebrated its quarter century last year; on this occasion, they had released an anniversary edition adorned with remixes, rare demos, and a previously unreleased track.

The Spice Girls reunited for a world tour in 2007-2008. In 2019 another UK tour took place, this time without Victoria Beckham.
