A Tropézien had the opportunity to meet Gims on Friday night and correctly answer the question he asked. The singer gave him 5,000 euros in cash and documented the moment on social networks.
the interpreter of Beautiful he had announced a “competition” a few hours earlier in an Instagram story, when he had just arrived in Saint-Tropez:
“The contest will be able to start, there are 5,000 euros left to win,” he explained, sitting on the edge of a swimming pool. “I come to town (and ask) ‘who’s your favorite singer?’ You answer correctly: 5K.”

The lucky one crossed his path in the afternoon, as shown in a video published by Gims on the same channel and recovered by Kultur. We see the artist talking in the street with a man in an apron, who works as a dishwasher in a restaurant. “We don’t know each other (…) we met by chance,” he insists in front of the camera, before asking the famous question.
“Gims”, then replies his interlocutor. “Sir, he just won 5,000 euros,” declares the singer of Take my hand pulling out a large wad of 50 euro bills. The singer also announced a “second prize,” an all-expenses-paid stay in Dubai, but she did not reveal who won it.
“I’m going to Switzerland,” we hear Gims say at one point in the video. Because the singer, who has been achieving solo success for ten years, is currently on a reunion tour with Sexion d’Assaut, the group with which he became famous.
