The Craig Robinson show could have turned into a disaster. On Saturday night, when he was to perform at a comedy club in Charlotte, North Carolina, the star comedian and actor of The office Y brooklyn nine nine he was forced to urgently evacuate the room, threatened by a man armed with a firearm.
The individual entered the establishment and demanded that everyone leave the premises before shooting randomly outside the room. No injuries were reported and the shooter was arrested, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
“I am safe”
On Instagram, Craig Robinson immediately elaborated on the events of the night. He explains that he was redirected, with the audience, to a nearby concert venue, the Metro Credit Union Amphitheater, for shelter. The show has been cancelled.
“I was performing at the Comedy Zone in Charlotte and there was an active shooter at the comedy club. So they moved us to that place. I’m safe. There’s a Big Time Rush concert so I thought I’d talk to all of you about it.” said the star. The office in a video
Craig Robinson then posted a second post in which he wanted to thank comedy club security and the police for their quick intervention at the time of the attack.
