Justin Bieber resumes his world tour after canceling it due to facial paralysis

Justin Bieber will be back on stage next Sunday, July 31, after having had to postpone his tour due to prolonged facial paralysis. The promoter of the AEG concert reported on Tuesday on his social networks.

The artist will start his own at the end of this month World Justice Toura world tour of 75 dates whose first stop will be the Lucca Summer Festival (Italy), and will continue with five concerts in Europe before heading to South America.

In Latin America, Bieber will travel through Brazil and Chile before singing in Argentina, after nearly ten long years of waiting, with new songs and a new mega show. It will be next 10 and 11 September at the Estadio Único de la Plata.

The extensive concert series will span all continents, as it also includes stops in South Africa, several countries in the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The tour, which was originally supposed to end in the UK in cities such as Glasgow, London, Birmingham and Manchester, continues to lengthen and has added new dates in Belgium, Austria and Poland for the end of March.

Facial paralysis, cancellation and fear

It should be remembered that the World Justice Tour had been canceled after the singer was diagnosed with Ramsay syndromea facial nerve condition near the ear that has kept part of his face paralyzed for weeks.

It was in fact June 10 when Bieber shared with his followers the health problems he suffered from and specified that the concerts in Washington, Toronto and New York had been postponed. “As you can see, this eye doesn’t blink. I can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril doesn’t move. So there’s total paralysis on this side of my face,” said the pop star.

“For those who are frustrated with the cancellations of my upcoming shows, I simply am physically unable to give them. This is pretty serious, as you can see,” he added in the same post.

He later turned to his nets again to announce that he needed to rest because his illness was getting worse by sending a message of hope: “He will return to normal (…) I have hope and I trust in God”.

While it appears that time has already arrived, it remains to be seen how the dates that had been closed in the US and Canada will be rescheduled for this North American summer.

The Canadian star’s new tour takes its name from her latest and successful album, justice. Released in March 2021, it debuted as the most streamed album in 117 countries. Several singles from the material took the global pop phenomenon to the top.
