The Serie Criminal minds, interrupted in 2019 at the end of its 15 seasons, will be resurrected. The Paramount+ streaming platform confirmed to the site Term having commissioned new episodes of the series, and remembered part of the historical cast, as well as the showrunner.
Joe Mantegna (David Rossi), Kirsten Vangsness (Penelope Garcia), Adam Rodriguez (Luke Alvez), AJ Cook (Jennifer Jareau), Aisha Tyler (Dr. Tara Lewis), and Paget Brewster (Emily Prentiss) will be back in what looks like more like a revival than a reboot. Executive producer and showerunneuse Erica Messer will also return to helm. Matthew Gray Gubler and Daniel Henney busy filming the wheel of time for Amazon, will not return.
“New stories for a new generation”
always according to TermParamount+ ordered 10 new episodes (the first 13 were over 20).
“The series has never stopped evolving over the course of its run, and we are beyond excited to bring it into a new era with new stories for a new generation of viewers at Paramount+,” said Nicole Clemens, president of Paramount+.
The series created by Jeff Davis, and broadcast in France on TF1 since 2006, follows a group of FBI profilers, who use behavioral analysis to investigate crimes and track down serial killers.
Losing momentum, the series was halted after 324 episodes of good and loyal service.
