Actors Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira will join in a new series that will pick up the love story of characters Rick Grimes and Michonne from the series. The walking dead.
During the ever-expanding franchise panel of The walking dead on San Diego Comic-ConLincoln and Gurira have advanced this new spin-off, which will reveal the fate of Grimes, who disappeared in a helicopter, at the beginning of the ninth season.
Lincoln and Gurira, who were actively involved in the characters’ creative sequel, have announced it the series will have six episodes and will premiere in 2023. The announcement was surprising and was approved by Scott M. Gimple, head of content for the Universe of The walking dead. In addition, both Gurira and Lincoln will be executive producers of this new proposal.
