This 2022 will have a before and after in the life of Luisana Lopilato when her fourth daughter is born, in a couple of weeks. The little girl will become part of the family that Luisana has formed with the Canadian singer Michael Bublé, with whom she has three other children: Noah, Elías and Vida. But before this familiar event, the actress awaits the premiere of Tubeon Netflix, this Wednesday, July 27.
Tube It is the third film in which Luisana Lopilato plays the police detective Manuela Pelari, whom everyone calls “Pipa”. This film closes the trilogy that has begun Lost (2018) and continued with intuition (2020), again with Netflix production.
Directed by Alejandro Montiel, in this new story Pipa finds herself far from her usual place, living with her son in the north of Argentina, sheltered with her aunt in a desolate city. The tough woman who survived her time in the police by breaking the rules and keeping her secrets seems to have completely changed her course.

-How did she deal with the character who, determined to change her life, seems to be destined to bring her back to what she wanted to avoid?
-I am happy to face this film, because before starting the saga, when they offered it to me they told me: “Let’s go film by film, look there are three”. The truth is that I didn’t know what would happen with Pipa. I think every movie has gotten better and it’s not because it’s the last one, but I think this is the best. It is not that in others …
-But another aesthetic stands out in this.
-Yes, because of photography, of the landscape, of how our country shows, there is another aesthetic, another cure. And everyone’s performances, everything is more linear. Also, I feel an acting growth for me, and also directing and producing.

Did you find new streaks in the character, doing it three times, but at different times in his life?
-It happens to me with Pipa that I really like, his personality. At first I had a hard time because it seemed like she had no feelings. He speaks monotonously, he is not expressive at all. At the same time, she is very cold in solving cases.
-The procession enters, it is not that things do not happen to him, do they?
– Exactly and that’s what it cost me most to play it at first. I didn’t fully understand her, but the director and the writers were very clear about what they wanted for the story and who Manuela Pelari was. And this struck me. In the first movie, I remember I fought a lot, “but I have to be more expressive” He said. Later I understood why and I was able to give him a good result.

-You found him around to build his identity.
-Yes, something similar to what happens with the Liam Neeson movies. I like them a lot, even if you already know a little bit what will happen. But the way he talks, I love it. He shows up and you say “Yes, he’s back! “. (it is back). And I tell the directors, in three years you have to do “Pipa is back! “.
-Why not? She would already be like a more mature woman, with more stories to tell.
-Yes I like it. Pipa makes me feel like an emancipated woman, who knows how to fight, who fights, who takes out her weapons. It’s like the kind of movie I like to watch.

-Now that the trilogy is ending, what does this character leave you in your career and in your life?
-In all films you always stay with something, the fact of working with different people or crossing paths with people you have already worked with. In this film I had to work with Sebastián Romero, who is an acting teacher, and I think he did a great job of finding a line, of finding the tone, as it was at this point in the trilogy, to find the character continuity.
-What was the experience of filming in northern Argentina like?
-This profession gives you the opportunity to travel at times, and I can do it with my family, which is a privilege that I enjoy. It happened here too. I traveled to Jujuy with my children and my husband, who accompanied me during the filming. They have known different places, foods, cultures that they did not know and I don’t know if they could have done it otherwise. It was installed there for ten weeks and it was very nice.
-Are you about to give birth to your fourth daughter, are you anxious about the birth of the baby?
-Yes, I barely breathe, I have two weeks left. I’m happy, can’t wait. Getting ready, with a calendar in which I delete everything. First I made a movie, matrimille, which opens at the end of the year. Click! Strikethrough! Then, the family tour of Europe for Michael’s commitments. Click!. Now the first of Tube, which is the last thing I do and I am already in my pajamas every day.

-An more member joins the family, how do you organize all the logistics that this entails, with your work and that of your husband?
-It’s a nice problem, but more madness than it already is now, it won’t be. He is already crazy. We have to go everywhere with our children, we are the couple that falls with children everywhere. They already see us enter and surely they think, “Oh poor thing, she’s stressed out”. So I don’t think she will change much more.
-In January 2023 comes the long-awaited theatrical premiere of “Married with children”. How do you prepare yourself?
-I am happy with the project, to work again with everyone, with Guille (Francella), with Flor (Peña), and to do theater again. It seems to me that it is a type of gold brooch closure that was needed, by the people and by us too. It’s been so many years and we’ve all so changed, but Married with children come on, it’s like The Simpsons.
-What happened to you when you were summoned?
-After having children I thought, I don’t know if I will ever go to theater, or maybe when they are older, because they are all so young and so often that they need me, and I cannot do theater and leave them for a while. But when this came, I didn’t even think about it, I really wanted to do it. My character, Paola, is still in people and they ask me constantly.
-Is he an important character in your career?
-Something happened to me that hadn’t happened to me in a long time with a character. She is very dear and they talk to me about her all the time. That’s why it’s nice to complete the cycle and go back to the theater live, with the people. Enjoy what theater gives you that nothing else gives you. And also, in the Great Rex, which has given me so much and means so much in my career. I think it will be a flash for me.

-Do you intend to settle with the whole family in Buenos Aires during the season?
-It will take eight weeks, so I’ll settle down with the whole family, accompanying us. January and February the children will go to remote school. Since they are still in elementary school, they can do it home school in Argentina and continue with the Canadian school routine.
-You will not miss your experience of seeing yourself in the theater and what happens with the audience.
-It’s fantastic and my brother Dario, his uncle, sees it too. They are fans of him, they love him, they are mini Daríos. Everything he does. they copy it: “Look, I wear jeans like the boy, you can see my underpants,” they say. They hang the chain as Coqui used to do. I guess seeing us on stage together will be strange for them, but also a lot of fun.
