British actor Bernard CribbinsHugely popular in the UK for his roles in the Doctor Who television series and voice of the children’s show The Wombles, he has died at the age of 93, his agent announced Thursday.
The veteran actor was also known for his roles in the film franchise continuefilms that for almost three decades, between the 1950s and 1970s, portrayed British society with humor.
Likewise, audiences will always associate it with the film. Children of the railways (the boys on the train1970), inwhich brings the Albert Perks character to life in this classic vintage melodrama.
