Brad Pitt is back on screen. The American actor returns this Wednesday, August 3 in Bullet traina wacky police comedy directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2 Y Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw). On the occasion of this premiere, the actor confided to the microphone of BFMTV the difficulties encountered during the filming of this film, made in full confinement.
“We shot during the pandemic and before the advent of vaccines, so there were a lot of protocols, it was a bit difficult. That’s why we couldn’t shoot in Tokyo,” explains Brad Pitt.
Giant screens six meters high
To overcome this problem, the director, David Leitch, installed giant screens along the train cars used as the film’s backdrop. “They were six meters high and on them we projected the entire route between Tokyo and Kyoto, which had been filmed before,” says the actor.
“We really felt like we were going to the point where some of the team got dizzy,” he adds.
Adapted from the best-selling Japanese novel. mary beetle by Kotaro Isako Bullet train tells the story of seven low-level assassins who find themselves on a high-speed train between Tokyo and Kyoto, ready to fight.
In addition to Brad Pitt, the public will be able to find on the screen rising stars of the cinema such as Brian Tyree Henry and Aaron Taylor-Johnson or the Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock.
