Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have already announced their return to the UK, two months after Queen Elizabeth II’s jubilee. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex “are very pleased to be visiting a number of charities close to their hearts in early September,” their spokesman said in a statement.
Your schedule will be busy. They will attend the One Young World 2022 Manchester Summit on September 5, where Meghan Markle will give a speech. On September 6 they will be in Germany, for the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf. Then back to the UK on September 8, for the WellChildAwards.
During their last visit to the United Kingdom, Harry and Meghan participated in the celebrations of the Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, for her 70 years of reign. They were able to see the royal family again, and took advantage of the trip to celebrate her daughter Lilibeth’s birthday.
Prince Harry visited the UN headquarters in New York on July 18, where he delivered a speech on the occasion of Nelson Mandela International Day. He mentioned the former South African leader, but also his mother, Princess Diana, and the climate crisis.
