Netflix presented this Monday the first trailer for cabinet of curiositiesa four-day event by Guillermo del Toro that will premiere on the platform for Halloween.

For the occasion, the director has imagined a horror anthology made up of eight scary stories. In addition to two episodes that will be directed by the filmmaker, the other stories will be directed by a team of writers and directors chosen by Guillermo del Toro.

A renowned cast

On the distribution side, viewers will be able to find Rupert Grint in particular in Dreams in the Witch’s Housean episode directed by Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight) and inspired by a story by HP Lovecraft. He will play alongside Ismael Cruz Córdova (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power).

Actors Tim Blake Nelson (The Ballad of Busters Scruggs) and Ben Barnes (shadow and bone) will appear respectively in lot 36 Y Pickman’s model. F.Murray Abraham (The Grand Budapest Hotel) or even David Hewlett (atlantis stargate), will also be part of the cast.

During the event, scheduled to start on October 25, two episodes will be uploaded each night until the 28th.
