After the successes of Pirates of the Caribbean Y jungle cruisea new film based on an attraction of the Disney parks is being prepared, reports the specialized magazine Term: “Le Train de la mine” (“Big Thunder Mountain” in the original version).
The attraction takes place in a universe inspired by the American West and features a gold mine. The first mining train, one of the most famous attractions in the park, was introduced in 1979.
The directorial duo Bert & Bertie, who signed the majority of the episodes of the miniseries. Hawk Eye last year, he was chosen for this project, the story of which has not yet been revealed.
A haunted house reboot in the making
Disney has already managed to successfully transfer its attractions to the cinema, such as Pirates of the Caribbean. This summer movie starring Johnny Depp spawned one of the most lucrative Hollywood franchises of the last twenty years.
Disney has also had success with jungle cruise, adventure film with Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt released in 2021. Disneyland’s haunted house also inspired a film with Eddie Murphy. A reboot starring Owen Wilson is in the works.
