The 31-year-old journalist was awarded the Méduse prize for her third novel, “Vers laviolence”.

The first literary prize awarded to books for the start of the 2022 school year, the Méduse prize, was presented this Wednesday to the journalist Blandine Rinkel by towards violence (Fayard editions), announced the jury on Wednesday.

This is the third novel by a 31-year-old author, also a musician, actress and dancer.

“Imposing, mocking and manly”

The narrator evokes the figure of a beloved father, “imposing, mocking and virile”, but “a man I do not know” because this policeman does not reveal himself much and is brutal.

The Méduse prize was awarded for the first time. It is endowed with 5,000 euros. The most important awards of the fall publish their first selection in September, to be delivered between the end of October and November.
