Singer Khaked releases ‘Cheb Khaled’, his first album in ten years

The unforgettable interpreter of I did Y Aisha returns with a new album, which comes out this Friday. His first in a decade.

Haloed by the success of the remix of his song Trigue High School by DJ Snake, raï star Khaled returns to the front of the stage and releases a new album this Friday called Cheb Khaled. This album, in which the raï artist has invited Santana, Chico & The Gypsies, DJ Snake and Chawki, offers nine original songs.

Khaled has already released at the beginning of the month with DJ Snake a remix of Trigue High School, their first hit released in 1974. The two men know each other well. DJ Snake had invited Khaked on June 11 during his memorable show at the Parc des Princes, during which the Algerian singer performed Aisha.

Khaled has been working on this album for several years, the release of which has been postponed several times, in particular due to the death of the singer’s mother two months ago.
