The actor-director filmed the sequel to his 2017 hit comedy this summer.

Crowned by the success of despite himself superheroes (1.8 million admissions), Philip Lacheau continues with the continuation ofalibi.comwhich attracted 3.7 million viewers in 2017. As usual, the actor and director is surrounded by his “Fifi Band”, made up of tarek boudali, Julien Arruti and Elodie Fontan. Already present in the first film, Nathalie Baye and Didier Bourdon return, and they are joined by Arielle Dombasle, Gérard Jugnot, Alexandra Lamy and Gad Elmaleh.

In this new film, Greg (Philippe Lacheau) has closed down his agency Alibi.com and promises his partner, Flo (Elodie Fontan), that he will stop lying. But when she asks him to marry him, she is forced to introduce him to her family. And between his thieving father and his charming ex-movie actress mother, Greg has no choice but to reopen his agency to find a definitive alibi and fake parents more presentable than his own.

BFMTV was able to visit the set ofalibi.com 2, which took place this summer. Philippe Lacheau, who in just a few years has become the king of school comedy made in France, is delighted to be able to direct the sequel to one of his greatest hits.

“We do what we did when we were little when we played cowboys and Indians except here we do it as adults. It allows us to keep the soul of this child.”

This incredible success does not go to his head, but Philippe Lacheau still fears that he has no ideas for the next film. “They are very afraid of having fewer ideas one day, but for now it will not happen given everything that is going on in there,” Elodie Fontan, who has starred in all of her films since Babysitter 2 (2015). Gérard Jugnot, who is in his third collaboration with Philippe Lacheau, is full of praise for the actor and director.

“It reminds me of the good old days! They take me out of my Ehpad and I’m happy,” the actor laughs, before comparing Philippe Lacheau’s company to Splendid: “We found a bit of the team we formed when they were young: kids who They met in high school, learned the trade together, and then quickly moved on.”

alibi.com 2 will be released in theaters in February 2023. Meanwhile, the band is filming the sequel to 30 days maximumtitled 3 days maximumand still directed by Tarek Boudali.
