Gardel Awards 2022: the most nominated

The artist with the most nominations is Wos, with 8. Trueno follows, with 7. Then there are Tiago PZK and Abel Pintos with 6. Tini, María Becerra and Ca7riel appear in 5 categories. Knowing Russia and La K’onga compete in 4 categories, and those with 2 nominations are Nathy Peluso, Dillom, Bizarrap and Nicki Nicole.

Waiting for the Gardel de Oro: the candidates

As with most art awards, the focus is on who will win the night’s biggest prize, gold.

The candidates of this edition are Oh! (from Dark Ecstasy), Ca7riel (for his album El disko), Andres Calamaro (by God he raises them), Nicky Nicole (From me), Escalandrum (per 100) e Abele Pinto (for the love of my life).

What will the ceremony be like?

The ceremony will be divided into two parts in which prizes will be awarded to the winners of the 48 categories in the competition.

In addition, eight musicals will be made that will involve fifteen artists representing the different genres and generations of Argentine music.

What are the Gardel Awards

The Gardel Awards are the most important for the Argentine music industry. They are organized and licensed by the Argentine Chamber of Phonogram and Videogram Producers (CAPIF) e distinguish the highlights of national music.

Its first edition dates back to 1999, in a gala hosted by Jorge Guinzburg and with only 5 categories. In that year Sandro was the artist to obtain the first Gold Gardel in history.

Where, how and at what time the Gardel Awards red carpet will air

The new edition of Gardel Awards 2022 will take place this Tuesday evening at Movistar Arena and will be in charge of the driver Jey Mammón and the journalist Eleonora Pérez Caressi.

The broadcast will be on the platform Star + and will start from the red carpet at 20.30 with Lizardo Ponce and Guillermo Gilabert.
