Wiz Khalifa was forced to interrupt his concert in Indiana this Saturday. The rapper who was performing with artist Logic at the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville cut his show short due to crowd movement, triggered by a rumor of gunshots heard by the audience.
In the incident, three bystanders suffered minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
No weapon identified by police
On social networks, several Internet users present at the event believe that there was an attempted shooting in the pit. But local police were unable to identify a firearm in the concert hall.
“I don’t know if I actually heard a gunshot… but what I do know is that I saw people running towards the stage. And as soon as people started running towards me, there was kind of a crowd effect and we started running. out of the room to get away from everything that was going on,” a viewer explains to the New York Post.
Wiz Khalifa and Logic perform as part of their Vinyl Verse summer tour, which runs through September 2 in St. Louis, Missouri.
