After seventeen years at the head of the Miss France committee, the one who succeeded Geneviève de Fontenay in 2007, announced on Tuesday that she was leaving her position to “devote herself to business projects”, according to a press release from Miss Society of France.

Cindy Fabre will therefore be in charge, starting in September, of organizing the beauty pageant at the national level, but also at the regional level, under the aegis of Alexia Laroche-Joubert, who has chaired the Miss France company since 2021. Cindy Fabre, a former marketing student and passionate about dance, was born to a mother from Guadeloupe and a father from Burgundy. She was also born in Nièvre. But she was in Normandy, where her parents moved, where she became Miss. Crowned Miss Normandy in 2004 and then Miss France the following year, the young woman was also elected Miss European Cities in 2006. In the Miss World competition, she was ranked 29th out of 81 entrants.

The young woman continues her career on television. She tries her hand at animation on several shows like Cash TV, the beach of secrets on W9, or the weekend schedule on France 2. But after eight years on the small screen, Cindy Fabre is forced to end her career due to an accident to her face.

If Cindy Fabre has appeared several times on television since her accident, however, she took advantage of this forced break to take advantage of her marketing studies. Before being chosen to replace Sylvie Tellier, Miss France 2005, she worked as a project manager at Ema Events, an agency specialized in organizing events in Dijon.

He is also running a restaurant in Cannes with his companion.

Despite so many conversions, Cindy Fabre has never really forgotten the Miss France universe since she was part of the exceptional jury of the 2021 competition and participated in the integration journey of Diane Leyre, Miss France 2022, last May.
