In a series of messages and photos published on the platform, the 45-year-old artist claims that the brand would have held meetings about him “without him being present” and that he would have plagiarized his Yeezy Gap creations designed by Balenciaga to make T-shirts from his collection. classic.

“Gap is copying YGEBB,” the artist wrote in a post, shared on Instagram, along with a photo of the model he created.

In 2020, Kanye West signed a collaboration agreement with Gap for 10 years. The first item featured under the partnership, a puffy blue jacket that sells for $200, sold out within hours.

In line with this collaboration, the rapper also presented his Yeezy Gap collection, designed by Balenciaga, at the beginning of the year. Exposed in August in garbage bags at the initiative of Kanye West, these creations earned him strong criticism on the networks.
