Magdalena Ruiz Guiñazú now rests peacefully in the Pilar Memorial Park. Her family, her friends and her colleagues gave their last farewell to the journalist and broadcaster who passed away yesterday at the age of 91.
The burial began around 4pm. this Wednesday at the cemetery located at kilometer 47 of the Ruta Panamericana.
At 3:50 pm his colleagues from Radio Miter arrived: Marta Lamas, Guido Valeri and radio director Jorge Porta.
At 3:57 pm the funeral procession arrived. Present at the ceremony were her children, her grandchildren, journalists Daniel Santoro, María O’Donnell, Joaquín Morales Solá, Pablo Sirvén, Cristina Pérez and Mónica Gutiérrez. Also the deputy Eduardo Amadeo, Daniel Sabsay, Hernán Lombardi and the former president of Racing, Guillermo Marín.
“A beacon of journalism”

She was passionate about cinema and theater, to the point that she had a long red corridor with all the programs of the shows she had seen.”
