Lucasfilm, a production company belonging to the Disney conglomerate, previewed the fifth episode of Indiana Jones on the occasion of the celebration of the D23 Expo conference, but it did so in a closed-door panel that was not broadcast through the live broadcast of the event.

The film, which does not yet have an official title and the premiere of which is scheduled for June 30, 2023will contain a large number of action scenes and chases on planes, trains and even horseback, according to the preview.

On Friday, in the first of the most anticipated panels of the D23 Expo, the complete list of films and series announced by the Disney Live Action division, and by the Pixar and Disney Animation studios was released:

abracadabra 2, sequel to the 1993 comedy in which Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy return as the trio of witches who return from the dead on Halloween night and devastate the town of Salem. It will premiere on September 30 on the Disney + platform.

Peter Pan and Wendylive-action adaptation of the 1940 classic peter pan, with Alexander Molony and Ever Anderson as the protagonists of the title and the British Jude Law as the villain Captain Hook. It will premiere in 2023.

disenchantedsequel to the 2007 musical and fantasy film Nice to meet you with Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey, who this time reprise the roles of Princess Giselle and Robert Philip. Previews in November 2022.

Haunted house, based on the popular Disney theme park attraction, directed by Justin Simien and a stellar cast including Rosario Dawson, Owen Wilson, Tiffany Haddish and Lakeith Stanfield. It will premiere in 2023.

The little Mermaid, a live-action adaptation of the 1989 film, this time starring Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, and the voices of Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay and Awkwafina. It will premiere in 2023.

Snow White, a live-action adaptation of the 1937 animated classic, Walt Disney’s first feature film, starring Rachel Zegler as the protagonist and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen. It will premiere in 2024.

Mufasa: The Lion Kingprequel to the hit photorealistic animated film The Lion King, 2019, which will tell the story of Simba’s father from his early childhood as an orphaned puppy to his transformation into the king of the savannah. It will premiere in 2024.

Elementary, the 27th film from the Pixar animation studios, which follows Amber and Wade, two young people of opposite nature who will learn to accompany each other in a city where creatures composed of the four basic elements coexist: earth, air, fire and water. It will premiere in 2023.

Inside and out 2, sequel to the 2015 blockbuster, this time directed by Kelsey Mann and once again centered around Riley, now a teenager with new emotions to deal with. It will premiere in 2024.
