COVID-19: 3 deaths and 12 fewer hospitals in Quebec

Public health reported 2,170 people hospitalized in Quebec, 12 less than the day before.

Of this number, 78 patients were in intensive care, 3 more than the previous report.

According to data from the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS), 97 more COVID-19 patients were admitted to the hospital in the past 24 hours, while 109 patients were discharged.

Three deaths also added to the death toll, which has reached 15,009 since the pandemic began.

Quebec also listed 906 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the number of confirmed cases in Quebec to 1,044,638 since February 2020.

Vaccination

So far, more than 87% of Quebecers ages 5 and older have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 54% have received a third dose, according to data from the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services. .
