More hospitalizations and deaths associated with COVID-19 in the region

Of these years, four are treated in intensive care, according to Quebec’s National Institute of Public Health (INSPQNational Institute of Public Health of Quebec).

Public health officials in the region are also reporting an additional death that has brought the total to 422 since the pandemic began.

Across Quebec, 27 people have died from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. The number of hospitalizations in the province decreased slightly.

The Integrated University Health and Social Services Center (CIUSSSIntegrated university health and social services center) reported 41 more people who tested positive for COVID-19. Within 24 hours, 13 people had also declared themselves infected.

There are currently 46 outbreaks in the region.
