Saskatchewan is experiencing, for the second consecutive week, a decline in the number of hospitalizations associated with COVID-19.
According to the latest weekly report from the province, the number of hospitalized patients has risen to 390, including 20 in intensive care. This is down 19 cases compared to the previous report.
In the week of April 24-30, the province confirmed that 14 Saskatchewanians had died due to COVID-19.
The province also recorded 17 new outbreaks, down six from the previous week.
During this same period, 766 people received a positive result from the PCR test.
For the second consecutive week, the city of Saskatoon leads with 268 new cases. The previous report cited 238 cases for the City of Bridges.
Regina was in second place with 145 cases.
