COVID-19: 4 fewer hospitalized, but 2 more deaths in Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean

Four fewer patients with COVID-19 were hospitalized at a health facility in Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean. However, two coronavirus victims were added to the balance of the region.

In total, public health reports 55 hospitals. Two of the patients were treated in intensive care.

The death toll now stands at 428 since the pandemic began in the region.

The National Institute of Public Health of Quebec (INSPQ) recorded 790 active cases, a decrease of approximately forty cases since Thursday.

The Integrated University Health and Social Services Center (CIUSSS) reports 63 new cases confirmed by PCR tests and 22 reported cases in the past 24 hours.

Across Quebec, public health reports 68 fewer hospitalizations than the previous day, but 22 additional deaths associated with COVID-19.
