Quebec on Wednesday reported 18 COVID-19-related deaths in the past 24 hours, for a total of 15,514 deaths since the pandemic began.
Hospitals dropped by eight since Tuesday. There were 76 new surgeries and 84 hospital discharges for a total of 1008 hospitals. The province also recorded 3 new intensive care admissions for a total of 22.
The trend continues to increase with new cases. Public health reports 895 newly reported cases, for a total of 1,075,570 people infected since the pandemic began.
Health authorities also count 130 active outbreaks.
The Ministry of Health indicates that the number of cases listed does not represent the situation, as access to screening centers is limited to client priorities.
On June 13, 11,382 samples were obtained.
Three hundred and twenty-five new rapid tests were reported, including 290 positives, for a total of 220,538 self-reported rapid tests, including 181,222 positives.
Vaccination
According to available data, 4,836 new doses were administered, including 4,664 in the last 24 hours and 172 before June 14, for a total of 19,985,009 doses administered in Quebec.
Outside the province, a total of 339,072 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 20,324,081 doses received by Quebecers, citing the Ministry of Health.
