Three weeks are scheduled for his trial.

His role in Operation Oursin

David Dumais is a network manager. He was involved in the sale of cocaine, ecstasy and methamphetamine and had sellers support him to sell stocks in the Mont-Joli and Rimouski territory. He had to pay $ 13,000 in taxes to a criminal organization to be active in the territory.

He did not acknowledge his involvement with the Hells Angels, but instead in a structured organization, he emphasized the Prosecutor for criminal and penal prosecution, Me Martine Savard.

His arrest

Various methods of investigation made it possible to link him to the narcotics network in Eastern Quebec.

An undercover agent, locator beacons and wiretapping were among the other items used for this operation.

During Operation Oursin police strike in February 2019, David Dumais was nowhere. Information from the public made it possible to find him a few months later, in July.

The sentence of seven years in prison will be proposed in Court, according to Me Martine Savard.

David Dumais has been incarcerated since he was arrested on July 5, 2019.

He will return to class on July 15 to determine his sentence.
