A 38-year-old woman is in critical condition at the hospital center after a vehicle collided with the motorcycle she was riding in Sainte-Monique, Center-du-Québec.
According to information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the motorcycle collided with a vehicle traveling on Route 226 to the east, when the latter turned.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 38-year-old woman, was taken to hospital where her life was feared.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured, but experienced a nervous shock.
Police and investigators are on the scene to try to understand the circumstances of the accident.
The Ministry of Transportation continued for several hours to completely close Saint-Joseph, between route Saint-Jean-Baptiste and route 226, and route 226 to rang Saint-Joseph.
