Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day begins at sunset on April 27 and ends the next night at dusk.
To mark this day, the Montreal Holocaust Museum is organizing a virtual visualization.
The ceremony will begin at 5 pm in Saskatchewan.
Montreal Holocaust Museum Communications Manager Sarah Fogg said this is an important day for survivors and victims, but also for Canadians who can learn from this tragedy.
Sarah Fogg explained that International Holocaust Remembrance Day, January 27 was established by the Allies after World War II, as the day of remembrance for the Holocaust and heroism changes each year according to the Hebrew calendar.
He explained the importance of recording the daily testimonies of survivors at the Montreal Holocaust Museum.
These testimonies will be important, according to him, to preserve their stories and to enliven the voices of the survivors.
The Montreal Holocaust Museum has virtual exhibits available to Saskatchewanians.
