For some time now, the leadership of the Center de services scolaire has been evaluating ways to improve academic success. Interviewed on the show Long livethe organization’s director general, Lucien Maltais, noted that the success rate is 5% to 28% lower in so-called regular classes than in students enrolled in a program enriched in sports, arts or sciences. .
So the CSS Des Chênes plans to offer enriched programs to all of its secondary schools and to all students, regardless of academic results or entrance exams.
