As part of the Bolo program to watch (note), the Sûreté du Québec and Toronto police are launching a national campaign to find the 25 most wanted criminals in Canada.
At the top of this list is Blake Charbonneau, 35, wanted for pimping.
Targeted in 2020 by the Integrated Team to Fight Against Pimping in Quebec, Charbonneau is suspected of anger both in the Montreal region and in Quebec.
In addition to controlling his victims to get them into prostitution, the 35-year-old criminal allegedly committed violent sexual assaults on other women he met on social media.
Arrested for the first time in March 2020 for sexual assault, Charbonneau was released on a promise to appear. During the court hearing, police found other victims of the sexual assault.
Since his escape, Blake Charbonneau has been the subject of arrest warrants across Canada for a number of cases, including pimping, aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault with a firearm.
The Sûreté du Québec asks the population not to approach him, as he may be armed and dangerous.
Produced and operated in Montreal, but launched in Toronto in 2018, Bolo was able to collect tens of thousands of dollars as rewards to track down those considered most dangerous. The information can be found on their website. (New window).
The other Quebec criminal on the list is Youcef Bouras.
The 24-year-old suspect is suspected of committing the murder of Muhammad Adhane. Bouras allegedly shot his victim twice in a parking lot of a business in Longueuil on the night of October 15, 2017.
The suspect allegedly fled and was not found by the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Department.
