Two students were stabbed, suspect arrested at Mississauga school

Two students were stabbed at a high school in Mississauga on Tuesday, prompting the temporary locking of the school and the establishment of security at another, according to police in Peel, a Toronto suburb.

Officials were called at 12:22 pm in St. Louis. Marcellinus High School, near the intersection of Courtneypark Drive and Mavis Road, for a stab.

Police found a victim there, a student from the school, who has since been taken to hospital with non -life -threatening injuries. The second victim, also a student, was examined by paramedics and also suffered non -life -threatening injuries, officials said.

Investigators said they have found a 15-year-old suspect who is now in custody. The investigation is ongoing and a case will be filed, according to police.

Ang Mississauga Secondary Schoollocated approximately 600 meters from St. Marcellinus School, was temporarily placed under surveillance, while St. Marcellinus School was placed under lockdown.
