Toronto police arrested a 14-year-old boy following a fight that injured three at the Scarborough Town Center shopping mall on the city’s eastern end.
Police were called to the scene around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police spokesman Alex Li, a fight broke out between the two groups at the mall that resulted in a stabbing.
The three injured were taken to hospital in serious condition.
In addition to arresting a teenager with the help of mall security officers, police recovered a knife.
No charges have been filed so far.

Mr. Li indicates that there is many crime scenes within Scarborough Town Center including near entrance number 3 to the mall, in a hallway and near storefronts, plus a portion of a parking lot outside the Scarborough Town Center building.
Our investigators believe many people were responsible for what happened, he said. According to police, several people were involved in the fight.
Police also seek to speak to any witnesses, who can videotape the events using a cell phone, for example. It was a weeknight, with customers inside shopping. We believe there are witnesseshe said.
