The search continues to find the 17-year-old teenager who went missing Monday in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Gerald Surnode was a student at the Samuel-de-Champlain school. He was last seen around 3:30 pm Monday at school.
The search took place Tuesday night around the school, but the teenager has not yet been found.
The Francophone South School District (DSFS) and the leadership of the Samuel-de-Champlain school is said to be cooperating closely with the Saint-Jean police force in this case.
This is an unimaginable situation in the school environment. Support services are therefore offered at the school to students and school staff who feel the need.refers to DSFS using email.
A spokesperson added that the school district and shared pain and anxiety of those close to Gerald Surnode.
Gerald Surnode is 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was quite stocky and had short black hair. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie and dark pants.
Police and the school district request anyone with information related to this incident to contact the Saint John Police Force immediately.
