High school teacher Kelsey Albert Dana McKay, 51, faced eight additional counts of sexual assault, sexual exploitation and seduction while teaching football at Churchill High School in the 2000s.
The man was arrested on April 12. He has been the subject of 14 counts of sexual assault and sexual exploitation against five former students of Churchill High School and Vincent Massey College.
The Sex Crimes Unit of the Winnipeg Police Service said in a statement thatunder investigation, three other adult survivors contacted the unit […] and reported similar incidents of sexual exploitation and abuse while Mr McKay was working at Churchill High School
The survivors, who are now adults, were teenagers at the time of the alleged events.
Mr. McKay was conditionally released with the permission of the Crown.
The investigation is ongoing.
