The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) announced on Friday the holding of an investigation to clarify a muscular intervention targeting a homeless man, the video spread on social networks.
The video in question was posted on Thursday on the TikTok social network, where it was viewed nearly 60,000 times by the end of the day Friday.
The footage, which lasts about 15 seconds, shows two officers from SPVM approaching a man standing next to sleeping bags, cartons and wooden pallets in an alley in Montreal.
