The name of Joseba Etxeberria is ruled out as an electoral asset for the next Athletic presidential elections. The coach from Elgoibarra has just renewed as coach of Mirandés until June 30, 2023. The red club is satisfied with the behavior of his team after the arrival in the middle of the League of the former rojiblanco to the Anduva bench.
Mirandés himself today made official the agreement reached with Etxebe in order to extend his contract for one more season to give continuity to his current project. The Basque coach took charge of the rojillo bench in February of this year and after ten games at the helm of the wild boars, in which he has garnered a total of 16 out of 30 possible points, he has earned the trust of the board and director sports, Chema Aragón, with one more season.
Mirandés, who were in a difficult situation when Joseba Etxeberria arrived, have changed their style of play and since then they have recorded five wins, one draw and four losses. Together with the former Athletic coach, Jorge Pérez will also continue as second.
