Two suspected drug traffickers raging at Portneuf’s MRC have to be held accountable for their actions after being arrested on Thursday.
The residence of a 34-year-old man from Donnacona on Jacques-Cartier Avenue was first searched.
Police seized 200 grams of illicit cannabis, 200 tablets of prescription drug and methamphetamine pills, two air pistols, three bladed firearms and $ 1,700.
Search in Cap-Santé
A 43-year-old man from Cap-Santé was also visited by police on Notre-Dame Street.
This search led to the seizure of 50,000 methamphetamine tablets, one kilogram of cocaine, 70 grams of cannabis, 175 tablets of prescription drug, 25 grams of crack, $ 3,500, equipment used in the manufacture of cannabis in addition to two cell phones.
The two individuals were released following their interrogation and they must face several charges related to possession of narcotics, drug trafficking and possession of illicit weapons, underlined in the Sûreté du Québec.
