The Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) is investigating a series of events that took place in several sectors of the city.

The targets appear to have been randomly selected, according to police.
Two citizens reported sustaining minor injuries after being hit by projectiles, some of which even hit the heads of passersby.
With the help of one of the victims, Gatineau police finally intercepted the vehicle in question and arrested three teenagers between the ages of 16 and 17. Two air guns were seized from the vehicle.
The teenagers were taken to the police station to be greeted by investigators, after which they were released on a promise to appear. Their cases were submitted to the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions (DPCP).
They can face multiple cases of wearing a disguise for a criminal purpose, attacking with a firearm and carrying a firearm for a dangerous purpose.
