The Sûreté du Québec confirmed the death of the man who was the victim of a violent attack on Tuesday in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts.
The main suspect in this case Keven Labrie, 37, has been arrested and remains in custody. He appeared Wednesday to face four counts, including one for attempted murder. He was also charged with aggravated assault. wounding, breaking, deforming his victim in one of the four counts filed against him.
Some numbers will therefore be changed at his next appearance on June 13th.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was stabbed at a residence on West 7th Street. He was taken to a hospital located outside the region where he was in critical condition.
Suspect Keven Labrie is known in police circles: he has credit on about twenty criminal and penal files.
