The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) arrested seven people in Saint-Ubalde and Saint-Casimir, in Portneuf, in connection with the illegal sale of cannabis.
Just before noon on May 5, police conducted two searches and arrested a 52-year-old man and a 63-year-old man allegedly involved in the sale of illicit cannabis. A 29-year-old woman was also arrested in connection with the operation.
The three people primarily operate a cannabis sales network at Portneuf’s MRC, according to SQ. They were released on summons and could face, among other things, cases related to the Cannabis Act.

At the same time, police conducted two searches in the Rivière-à-Pierre and Saint-Ubalde sectors.
Four people were arrested, two men aged 39 and 49 and two women aged 42 and 45. They were also released on summons and could face drug -related charges.indicates SQ.
In four searches, police seized approximately $ 9,000 in Canadian currency, 130 grams of cannabis, 230 grams of cocaine, 85 methamphetamine tablets and contraband cigarettes.
