Police have finally arrested a young man who allegedly caused panic on Sunday by pointing a gun at several people in Nova Scotia before stabbing one.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) reported that Joshua Mabie, 24, was remanded in custody prior to his return to Digby Provincial Court on May 17, where he will face a dozen criminal charges.

reports that the young man first went to the community center on Route 1, Weymouth, where he allegedly pointed a gun in the direction of a crowd during a memorial service. He would have gone to a nearby residence.When people went there to tell the suspect that they did not approve of him attending the ceremony with a gun, he allegedly hit one of them, a 24-year-old man from Weymouth, and punched him with stab wounds.

arriving at the scene Joshua Mabie was arrested while the seriously injured victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance.Joshua Mabie faces charges including aggravated assault, several other gun cases and two counts of non-compliance with conditions.
