Since last week, travelers have been encouraged to be as patient the lack of staff leads to delays and many travelers miss their flights.

I think it’s going to be a pretty difficult summer for everyone. Many people will travel and not enough manpower.

According to Sheila Fardywith three decades of experience at Canadian airports, labor needs are concentrated in two sectors: security guards and baggage handlers.

The impact of the pandemic is huge. We lost a lot of people with experience. There are new employees starting everywhere, not enough for security and for Canadian and American customs. Really expect to be very patient and arrive earlyhe pointed out, adding that it’s not a normal summer for Ontario people at airports.

While queues are usually longer than usual, this also indicates that some times of the day are worse than others.

Depending on the time. For example, 7 am is hell.

A good three hours early would be best. Bring a book, it is better to look for it long than to be confused.
