On the 22nd day of the search for Frank Young, a 5-year-old boy from Red Earth Cree Nation who went missing, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) still said there were no signs of abduction.
According to RCMP, all advice was followed without finding Frank Young. The child was last seen outside his home on the afternoon of April 19. He was also seen at a playground in the northern part of the community, about 200 kilometers east of Prince Albert.
Edward Dutch Lerat is the second vice-chief of the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations. He asked senior leaders of the Saskatchewan Government to visit the Red Earth Cree Nation and support them.
” We continue to hope and pray that Frank will be found safe. However, as time goes on, we lose hope. “
Authorities said they covered approximately 92 square kilometers in their search.
