A man is fighting for his life after being possibly stabbed in the Beauport sector, in Quebec.
According to our information, the knife attack took place on Friday morning, around 4:30 am, in an apartment building on avenue Saint-Narcisse, near the Institut universitaire en santéALE de Québec, commonly known as Robert Giffard Hospital. .
The suspect is believed to have fled the attack. A large security perimeter was built in the area.
The man was seriously injured. We are currently scared for his life.confirmed Marie-Pier Rivard, spokeswoman for the Quebec City Police Department.
The second attack in a week
The event comes exactly one week after a man was charged with attempted murder on a 46-year-old woman in the context of domestic violence, in the Beauport sector.
After being arrested for the first time around 9 pm, Michel Boucher, 51, showed up for the second time around 11 pm at the victim’s home, on rue Saint-Cécile, to assault him again.
