A Lévis resident, who has also lived in Montreal and Charlevoix in recent years, found himself under a police magnifying glass for a series of acts of a sexual nature.
Christopher Saintelmane, 35, appeared Thursday at the Quebec City courthouse on two counts of aggravated sexual assault.
Investigators assigned to the case, however, have reason to believe Saintelmane may have had other victims in recent years.
Strategy
The defendant allegedly used pseudonyms Love at Kristopher Boirond on various social media platforms to interact with its victims.
Furthermore, several victims have already advanced, emphasizes the Lévis City Police Department (SPVL). The serial crime investigation management structure (GECS), coordinated by the Sûreté du Québec, has been deployed.
This provincial coordination makes it possible, among other things, to quickly identify crimes committed by predators and thus better protect victims, according to the SPVL.
Anyone who has been a victim or witness to reprehensible sexual acts committed by Christopher Saintelmane is invited to confidentially call 418-832-2911 (SPVL) or 418-835-5436 (Tel-lien).
